BattleZone 0.8
BattleZone was originally an arcade game in the early 80's.It uses wireframe 3D graphics to simulate tank-vs-tank battle. A Fortran version was written by Justin S Revenaugh (MIT/86). This was ported to C and the X Window System by Todd W. Mummert (CMU/90) in 1990.
In porting BattleZone to MacOSX, we have subsituted the Cocoa Framework where the X Window System had been used. Of course, you can still build and run the original X Window version of the game on MacOSX using XFree86 (if you are something of a Unix weenie).
